Triumph MAT gives all its children iPads!
Alderman’s Green is part of Triumph MAT who has today given every child from Y2 to Y6 their own iPad to use in school to support their learning. Children in early years and in Y1 will share iPads too support their learning too.
This is a fantastic opportunity that we know our children will be excited about! Through the use of iPads, we will give learners an exciting way of accessing, exploring and experiencing the whole curriculum. Through the regular use of technology children will learn to record their understanding of their learning through a range of apps whilst also ensuring they produce work of the highest quality reflecting our core value of pride in all that they do.
Through rich, exciting, innovative and creative learning experiences, our curriculum enables our pupils to grow in understanding whilst embedding key skills that will enable them to continue to learn and achieve beyond our school.
In an area of deprivation and disadvantage, it is essential that our pupils are empowered to achieve highly and are ambitious for their own futures. Through the curriculum opportunities that we provide, we will extend their communication skills and develop our children’s cultural and social awareness. By providing pupils with regular opportunities to create, collaborate and lead their learning we will embed their understanding and develop their curiosity, confidence and resilience.
We believe that through the increased use of technology we will provide a broader, richer range of learning experiences which will increase pupils understanding, accelerate progress and personal responsibility for learning and raise attainment.
