VE Day Friday 8th May
On Friday 8 May 2020, Britain commemorated the 75th anniversary of VE Day when the guns fell silent at the end of war in Europe. We asked our children to create bunting to add to our school gates to mark the occasion. Some fantastic pieces of art were created! Take a look!

Thank you to those of you who wore brightly coloured tops to raise awareness for Autism last week, we hope you had fun!
If you haven’t already, you can still do any of these activities to raise awareness for Autism:
- Watch this video about Autism with your family and have a go at answering the questions together, using the NAS Primary Activities sheet.
- Tune in to a very special episode of Daisy and Ollie, starring Daisy’s cousin Theo, who is autistic, plus guest cameos from Christine and Paddy McGuinness. Watch it on my5 catchup any time.
- You could print out this Trummies poster and put it in your window to share your understanding of Autism with people who walk past your house.
- You could share these facts from Chris Packham about Autism with a member of your family or a friend and test them to see what they can remember!
Remember….
A few small adjustments can make a big difference for everyone.
Thank you for your support!
